After a series of party for Sinulog 2009, my High School mates decided to take a ride at the World’s first Edge Coaster.
At about 9 o’clock in the evening on Monday, we’ve reached the Crown Regency Tower Hotel. The Entrance to Sky Experience Adventure is located at the 19th floor of the building.

We then took another ride to an elevator going to 38th floor for Edge Coaster Entrance. We filled out a form with our personal information, which was being used for our certificate.
FYI:For children, there is a waiver that would be filled out and signed by their guardian/s.
The Sky Bar
After filling out a form, we immediately went out and run through the starting point. Cameras and cellphones are advised to be placed in a small shelf. No one is allowed to bring it with them.
As we sitted down the coaster, I started to be scared but then I was excited at the same time. The movement of the coaster was being controlled by the system but if you’d like more fun you can manually do the tilting. I tilted it up until 55 degrees. My friend Tyryl even said, “Choy, that’s enough!” but I never stopped (HAHA). We could barely see our feet. My feet started to shake. I couldn’t stop my feet from trembling (that was really great..lol). I was about to go back to the normal position but then we were being controlled by the system at that time so we had no choice but to face the fear. I was shouting, trying to overcome the fear. In a few moment,we reached the end. I thought we still have to take another round but then sad to say that was only good for one revolution. The ride took about more or less 15 minutes. I really wanted to ride again. I just want to keep coming back after that WOW Ride!
There is an official photographer of the hotel who take pictures on riders. We bought 2 copies of our photo for 169.00 pesos.
We went back inside and claimed the Edge Coaster Certificate signed by Richard King,Chairman of Crown Regency Tower Hotel. This is to certify that I have successfully completed the ride of the World’s First Edge Coaster. The time, date and even the weather condition were stated.
