Last July 11, 2009, The Digital Filipino Club gathered Cebu-based bloggers, aspiring bloggers and e-commerce industry players for the 2nd time in the Cebu Digital Filipino Club Bloggers Conference and Fellowship Night. It was held at the Teatro Casino, Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino and was sponsored by one of the Digital Filipino Club members, PAGCOR.
I came late at the venue with my friends, Ybiang and Kit2x,my invited guests for that night. Thank you for coming!=)
Most of the attendees were from Cebu Bloggers Society, newbie bloggers, the owner of mynimo.com, the owner of Ngkhai Mr Wilson Ng and there was one woman approached me and asked me about Cebu Bloggers’ Society. She is an IT administrator based from US.
The event started with Registration and a Dinner. I was not that satisfied with the food because it was not as good as last year. After the dinner, there was a guest introduction, plugging & welcome remarks. Mam Janette gave updates on The Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs 2009, Philippine Schools Cyberfair 2010, The 2009 Digital Web Awards and The DigitalFilipino Club (online workshops and other e-commerce efforts)
After the talks, we were given time to enjoy camwhoring and so CBS began to move. I should have won the Yahoo! shirt if only if I did not join CBS in the camwhoring (BUT no regrets of course because nothing can compare the happiness I feel when I am with CBS…nyahahaha!). It’s really really full of fun with CBS. Fortunately, I received at least a Yahoo!Pop pin from Mam Janette.
There were some raffles and freebies from Ayosdito.ph, Yahoo!(Pop pins), PAGCOR (Shirt, Shopping Bag, key chains, and a Php300 worth of Gift certificate for Casino Filipino). A big thank you to Digital Filipino Club, PAGCOR & Maam Janette Toral for bringing that fantastic event here in Cebu! We salute you!See you again on the next Cebu Digital Filipino Club Bloggers Conference and Fellowship Night.
